WEED-IT technology continuously evolves to help farmers and contractors manage weeds in the most accurate, fast and easy way. WEED-IT Quadro for instance, once again sets the standards for precision spraying. It is not only capable of targeted spot spraying but also enables users to perform cover mode and dual spraying/bias mode.

WEED-IT Quadro

WEED-IT Quadro sets the standard for precision spraying. One thing that's becoming more and more important, in the environment with less precipitation, limitations on herbicides usage and resistant weeds, is effective weed detection and elimination. To help growers combat weeds more effectively, precision spraying specialist Rometron introduces WEED-IT Quadro: the next generation spot spraying.

Our WEED-IT Quadro

Spot spraying

In spot spraying mode, WEED-IT targets all living green material on fallow land to maximise moisture availability and to minimise competition and herbicide resistances. This is the spraying mode it all started with back in 1999.

Spot spraying

Dual spray

In dual spraying mode, WEED-IT applies a low application rate (like 30 l/ha) full width and a higher rate (like 100 l/ha) on every single weed detected. WEED-IT is the only system capable of offering dual spraying technology with just one spray line.

The dual spray mode

Cover mode

Cover mode is yet another unique WEED-IT feature. While using it for incrop spraying, your sprayer acts as a normal sprayer, but with pulse width modulation (PWM) to maintain the set spray rate independent to the operation speed and boom movement.

The Cover mode

Over the past 10 years, interest in Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) technology for agricultural sprayers has increased significantly. Its benefits - regulation of the application rate independently of pressure and the ability to apply crop protection products evenly in corners - have greatly contributed to this.
